Meet Pramit Malhotra, MD

Dr. Pramit Malhotra is a board certified Ann Arbor cosmetic plastic surgeon and the director of the Malhotra Center for Plastic Surgery, which provides care for women and men in Jackson, Lansing, Detroit, and other parts of the state. He is one of a small contingent of surgeons in the country who is a double board certified plastic surgeon and otolaryngologist.

Dr. Malhotra underwent an educational path that took eleven years of training. He has performed over 5,000 procedures throughout his career. He has met the professional requirements to be a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and has also been inducted into the prestigious Landacre Society.

The essence of Dr. Malhotra's surgical philosophy is captured by his practice motto, "Beauty Revealed." He customizes each plastic surgery procedure according to his patients' underlying framework and surgical goals. His focus is on natural, long lasting results.

Education

Dr. Malhotra graduated from the University of Michigan Honors College cum laude. After completing medical school at the Ohio State College of Medicine, Dr. Malhotra trained in Head and Neck Surgery with a focus on facial plastic surgery at the University of Minnesota. He was awarded a 6 month research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, one of the world's leading institutes for medical research. Dr. Malhotra earned a Master of Science degree for his cancer research in addition to his medical doctorate. Additional training was completed as the chief plastic surgery fellow at University of Wisconsin.
